Why do we celebrate Sant Jordi?
In a kingdom far, far away — or maybe not that far, depending on the map — there lived a dragon.

A very hungry dragon. Always hungry.

The villagers, ever so optimistic about their own luck, came up with a plan: give the dragon one person a day as a snack to keep him “calm.”

And how did they choose the daily canapé?
A raffle, of course.
Well... One day, guess who “won”?
The princess. Oops.

But not all was lost. This dragon story has a happy ending, too. Out of nowhere, Sant Jordi — knight, swordsman, and certified problem-solver — showed up and defeated the dragon. Legend has it that a red rose bloomed from the dragon’s blood.

That’s why, every April 23, as part of Catalunya’s culture, we celebrate love and friendship by exchanging books, roses, and collections that don’t need armour to be legendary.

HAVE FUN!
